- Siring 3yo Flat and NH winners in 2003!
- DOUBLE TRIGGER had his first 3 year old runners in 2003. In Europe he
sired 5 individual winners and 9 individually placed horses, giving him an
excellent ratio of 50% winners and placed horses to runners.
- Winning distances were 6 furlongs to 2 miles.
- 100% winners to runners in France.
- His FIRST NH 3yo runner Earlsfield Raider won a Novice Hurdle at Sandown on
Saturday 8th November and went on to be placed at Ascot and Sandown.
- DOUBLE TRIGGER's full brother DOUBLE ECLIPSE has also had a successful
start to his stud career with a track record dual winner on the flat in Decoy
and a first time out bumper winner Corrib Eclipse who followed up with a good
second at Ascot under a penalty.
- The ELA-MANA-MOU line (Double Trigger's sire line) has had an excellent
year. SNURGE's first crop are now 7yo's and he had 5 individual black type
horses in France 2003.
- Double Trigger has covered 75 mares in each of his first 5 seasons at stud
with excellent fertility of over 90%
- At the sales Double Trigger's offspring have been popular. Again at
Tattersalls October sale his yearling Ex. Waterflower made 24,000gns. Double
Trigger yearlings have reached this figure in 2001, 2002 and 2003. A price of
TWELVE times his stud fee!
- In 2004 Double Trigger's stud fee will again be £2500 1st
October terms, with concessions for winning mares or dams of winners.
- Mare owners are invited to have a FREE mating plan using ECLIPSE ONLINE
(TM) and a pedigree assessment. Please supply the name and year of birth of
the mare and phone Ron Huggins who will check her compatability to Double
Trigger. Mare owners found this a very useful service in previous years.
